The Stone Strong system has been evaluated through the US Federal Highways Administration (FHWA) Highway Innovative Technology Evaluation Center (HITEC). HITEC serves as a US-based clearinghouse for implementing highway innovation by conducting nationally focused evaluations of new products and technologies. Evaluation was based on design, construction, performance, and quality assurance information supplied by Stone Strong USA. Submitted design methods are in accordance with AASHTO (2002) for gravity retaining wall design.
