Retaining walls, temporary and permanent railway platforms, track support, ballast guards, staged bridge construction; bridge abutments, signals support and temporary works solutions have all used stonestrong blocks within a rail environment. Construction operations have been undertaken during overnight and weekend line closures through to working under conditional stop conditions adjacent to live rail formation carrying multiple passenger and freight services.
Stone Strong blocks can be structurally designed to accommodate standard 25 tonne railway axle load surcharges; the reinforcement cage can be substantially upgraded to provide for direct sleeper/ rail support as required.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_empty_space height=”32px”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
